A metering valve is a valve that can achieve precise flow control by changing the cross-sectional area through which fluid passes.

The working principle of a metering valve: a precise cylindrical flow channel hole, a precision machined conical valve stem, and a knob handle that moves the conical valve stem up and down to match the cylindrical flow channel hole to achieve precise control of the annular cross-sectional area through which fluid passes. In order to achieve precise control of the flow cross-sectional area, a precision machined transmission thread is also required. For more precise requirements, a knob handle with a vernier can be provided, which divides one turn of pitch stroke into 1/25.
